For Country...For Freedom
Another brave soldier has fallen today...
while serving his country, in the midst of "Harm's Way".
He was fighting for freedom, for us, and Iraq,
and fell silent and still, while under attack.
He gave all he had, like a hero so true...
the ultimate sacrifice... for the red, white, and blue.
Words can't describe, to a family or friend,
the personal loss, that they feel deep within.
But those that have served, their country before,
can feel the great loss, no matter the war.
This "brother" who's fallen, for what we believe,
is a hero forever, as we honor and grieve.
His life has been given, so we can go on,
living in freedom, right now and beyond.
Heroes are born in our country each day,
and they give all they have, in their own special way.
We know who they are, for they usually stand out,
and we try to be like them, and what they're about!
So mourning this hero, and what he stood for,
should remind us each day... of our freedom once more.

There are no words to express the sadness I feel for your loss. I want to offer the families, friends, and fellow soldiers of these brave heroes my support and prayers. May God bless and keep you.
You are all heroes. I love you Tristan. Americans don't know the real truth...the truth that only you and your men know. It sucks. This whole thing just sucks.
my thoughts and prayers are with you
We are very saddened to hear this news. We send you and your fellow troops our love, and our prayers for your safety at this most difficult time in your lives. God bless each and every one of you. Thank you for serving our country. You have our respect and support. R.I.P. our fallen heroes now on patrol in Heaven.
What a sad day. My sincere condolences to you, your battle buddies, and the families and loved ones of these fallen soldiers. It's truly a loss for us all.

I'm am very sadden by the news and so very sorry for your loss.
Nothing I can say or do to ease the pain, and make it right. I don't even have the rhetoric to say such thoughtful words as already posted here. I just know through Soldiers Angels (SA) and Books For Soldiers (BFS) each and everyone become more personal, like a family member.
Thank you for your sacrifices and may the Lord provide peace and comfort to you all.

I am so sorry-
words just fail me...but prayers won't.
I am deeply saddened by the loss of these brave soldiers. I will keep their families in my prayers and ask all my friends and family to do the same.
I will also remember all of you that remain to protect us. I pray everyday that the Lord will keep all of you save and bring a peaceful end to this war.
I will be praying for a complete recovery for alls those wounded, as well.
My God protect and keep you all safe until you return to your families.

Loss....there are really no words to discribe loss....you have to experience it...to know it. Life gone in a split second becomes a memory....and a loss. I know what loss is...and I am so sorry you have to know loss too. If you think about it, they are really not gone...as they live on in our hearts...for eternity. We hold them close...and draw from them...in order to carry on, as this is what they would want us to do. You have my deepest sympathy.
My heart goes out to the families of the fallen soldiers my son called his friends. Duncan is fighting his most important battle and the prayers and support of his fellow soldiers is helping. Thank you for posting the memorial photos and text - when he is able to view them, it will help with his healing and loss. Bless all of you - we pray for your safe return every day.
I was on the medevac team that got Duncan out of Iraq in 07. Me and another soldier followed his progress and were hit hard by his passing. I thought about him all day today.
Is there a way to contact the family so i can do a tribute to him during a memorial ride next year?
