Back again

Originally I started this blog when I was here the first time. I haven't really wrote in it for awhile so I figured I would start up again. I'm in Kuwait for the second time at the same place I was the first time. Once again I've contracted the Kuwaitey crud, a wicked sinus infection that makes me feel like my left side of the face should blow out the side. Things that I really disliked are brought back to my attention full boar now that I didn't think about before. I miss my family thats a given, but what really pisses me off is using the porta johns. Once again no flushable toilets for a year. Usually when you have to piss real bad in the night you just get up and walk down the hall to pee. Here you have to put your shoes on your pt belt, your eye pro and run to the porta jon, come back and fall asleep. It wouldn't be bad if I didn't keep doing this an hour before I had to wake up. I'm here about the same time of the year I was last time, so its cold in the mornings and evenings and really nice during the day. They have given me more unecessary gear that really hinders my ability to move and ways me down and will most likely make me hotter than shit when the temp starts creeping up around 120. The base has expanded adding more PX's and chow halls and eatery's they actually have a chinese food joint here which is pretty wild, its actually pretty good. The internet is pretty slow again but hey they get their 5bucks out of me. It won't matter in a few days I guess when I cross the border again into Iraq. I have a really good squad, and platoon, the guys are young but excited and willing to learn. Shit I mean who wouldn't it only means their lives. I would try to upload some pics but like I said the computer is enough to make me freak out and start juggling moniters and stuff. Oh ya and another thing that annoys me is that we have to go in buddy teams to the creature features which means you really cant go out and stay on the computer or fone for hours at a time incase your buddy gets done early or what ever.
Hopefully I will end up getting a laptop or something which will make posting these a little easier. I'm kinda writing on the fly and under time contstraint and I don't know wether I should keep it raw as in before with all the colorful langauge that an Infantryman usually speaks or hold back and keep it respectful and clean for the family. If thats the case you will probably miss out on some of the rotten humor that goes on over here. Which is what keeps one sane. Thats why I chose a porta potty for its graffitti and not its cleanliness. I'd rather be entertained than having a clean bum. I can always wipe it off when I go.
